KEDARNATH BADRINATH KI MAHIMA
kedarnath kee badee mahima hai. uttaraakhand mein badreenaath aur kedarnath-ye do pradhaan teerth hain, dono ke darshanon ka bada hee maahaatmy hai. kedarnath ke sambandh mein likha hai ki jo vyakti kedarnath ke darshan kiye bina badreenaath kee yaatra karata hai, usakee yaatra nishphal jaatee hai aur kedarnath sahit nar-naaraayan-moorti ke darshan ka phal samast paapon ke naash poorvak jeevan mukti kee praapti batalaaya gaya hai.

kedarnath jee ke teerth purohit is kshetr ke praacheen braahman hain, unake poorvaj (rshi-muni) nar-naaraayan evan daksh prajaapati ke samay se hee is svayambhoo jyotirling kee pooja archana karate aa rahe hain. tatpashchaat paandavon ke pautr, raaja janmejay ne unhen is mandir kee pooja archana ka adhikaar diya tha, evan sampoorn kedaar kshetr daanasvaroop diya tha, ye log tab se teerthayaatriyon kee pooja karavaate aa rahe hain.
angrejee parvataarohee erik shiptan (1926) dvaara darj kee gaee ek parampara ke anusaar, “kaee saikadon saal pahale” ek pujaaree kedarnath aur badreenaath donon mandiron mein sevaen deta tha, aur donon sthaanon ke beech pratidin yaatra karata tha. aadi guru shankaraachaary jee ke samay se yahaan par dakshin bhaarat se jangam samudaay ke raaval shivaling kee pooja karate hain. mandir ke saamane purohiton kee apane yajamaanon evan any yaatriyon ke liye pakkee dharmashaalaen hain, jabaki mandir ke pujaaree evan any karmachaariyon ke bhavan mandir ke dakshin kee or hain .
