Aditya is the son of famous Bollywood singer Udit Narayan. She was born on 6 August 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Aditya completed his early education from Utpal Shanghvi School, Mumbai. After that, he completed his graduation from SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai. She was interested in singing from the beginning and at the age of just five, she sang playback in the Nepali film Mohini (1992).
In 1995, he sang in the film Akele Hum Akele Tum with his father Udit Narayan. His acting career as a child began when Narayan was spotted by producer and director Subhash Ghai as a finalist for the “Little Wonders” troupe at the 1995 Filmfare Grant Festival. Ghai cast him for his movie Pardes. Her second film was Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai. As a child artiste, he worked on more than a hundred songs and also released the album Aditya on Universal Music. Aditya Narayan Career
Aditya Narayan started his career in playback singing with his first song for the Nepali film Mohini in 1992. After this he entered Bollywood with the song “Rangeela” from the film Rangeela with Asha Bhosle. In 1995, she collaborated with her father Udit Narayan for a song in the movie Akele Hum Akele Tum.
As a child artiste, Narayan attracted the attention of producer Subhash Ghai at the 1995 Filmfare Awards. After this, his acting debut was in Ghai’s film Pardes, followed by Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai. His performance subsequently earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 1999 Zee Cine Awards.
During his early years, Narayan sang over 100 songs and released the album Aditya in PolyGram Music. Her notable song “Chhota Bachcha Jaan Ke” from the film Masoom won her critical acclaim and awards.
In 2006, Narayan completed a Diploma in English Contemporary Music at the Tech Music School, London. On getting back to India, he tried out for Sa Re Ga Mama Dad Challenge 2007 and later turned into the anchor of the show. He also performed a concert tour with his father in North America and the West Indies.
In 2009, Narayan made his acting debut as the lead in the film Shaapit. He continued to host TV shows such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 and X Factor. In 2014, Narayan released his first independent single “Tu Hi Pyaar Hai” and formed a band named The A Team. She hosted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs in 2015 and 2016.
Following this, Narayan released several singles, including “Tera Ishq Ji Paun” and “Zindagi”. She also ventured into music video direction and production, releasing singles like “Mohabbat”, “Behka Behka” and “Yaara”.
In 2017 and 2018, Narayan hosted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa respectively. He also participated in reality shows such as Entertainment Ki Raat and Khatron Ke Khiladi, where he was the runner-up.
In 2019, Narayan continued his hosting stint with Rising Star and appeared episodicly in Khatra Khatra Khatra. She released singles such as “Lillah” and collaborated with Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar for the song “Goa Beach”.
In 2020, Narayan released the singles “Main Dooba Rahoon” and “Kyun”. He also played the lead role in his father’s solo single “Tere Bagaair”.
